LuxVibes (Pty) Ltd ("LuxVibes", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and all other applicable South African privacy legislation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the LuxVibes platform and services. By using our platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of personal information: • Identity information: full name and identity verification details • Contact details: email address, phone number • Location data: pickup and drop-off addresses you provide when making a booking • Payment information: processed securely through Paystack; we do not store raw card details • Ride history: booking details, vehicle selected, extras, ride dates and routes • Account credentials: login email and authentication tokens • Driver/chauffeur information (if applicable): licence number, vehicle details, professional driving permit (PDP), and other documents required for onboarding
Your personal information is collected through: • The LuxVibes web and mobile application during registration, booking, and use of our services • The booking process, including ride requests and scheduling • WhatsApp communication, where applicable • Chauffeur and fleet partner onboarding forms • Third-party payment processing via Paystack
We collect and process your personal information for the following lawful purposes: • To create and manage your LuxVibes account • To process and fulfil your ride bookings • To assign a chauffeur and communicate ride details • To process payments securely through Paystack • To provide customer support • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations • To improve the safety, reliability, and quality of our platform • To communicate important service updates or changes We will not process your personal information for purposes incompatible with those listed above without your prior consent.
Your personal information is stored on secure servers provided by Base44 (our technology infrastructure provider), hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with appropriate technical and organisational security measures. We implement: • Encryption of data in transit and at rest • Access controls restricting data access to authorised personnel only • Role-based data access for fleet partners, chauffeurs, and administrators • Regular security reviews While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is entirely immune to risk. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.
We share your personal information only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards: • Paystack: payment processing; subject to Paystack's own privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance • Fleet partners: where your booking is fulfilled by a fleet partner, the relevant partner receives the booking and ride details necessary to service your trip • Chauffeurs: assigned chauffeurs receive your first name and pickup/drop-off details to complete your ride • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities: where required by law or court order We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
As a data subject under POPIA, you have the following rights: • Right of access: you may request a record of the personal information we hold about you • Right to correction: you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information • Right to deletion: you may request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations • Right to object: you may object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time To exercise any of these rights, contact our Information Officer at matebogo@innovateiq.africa. We will respond within a reasonable time and no later than the period required by law.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for such further period as may be required by law or necessary to fulfil our legitimate business purposes. Upon deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information from our active systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.

The LuxVibes platform may use session-based cookies and tokens for authentication and security purposes only. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising or profiling.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated to you via the platform or by email. Continued use of the LuxVibes platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
